Lisbon Surf Guide - surf class & pick up
Overview
First time surfing? Don't worry, I will guide you to a safe surf spot, teach you how to surf and stay by your side the whole time.
Do you have some surfing experience and want to improve your skills? I will surf with you and help you improve your surfing technique!
I teach surfing from beginners to intermediate levels
I want to share this love with you!
I am a local surfer and have been a professional surf coach since 2016.
I have studies in Surfing and Performance - Level I Surf Instructor Certificate, from the University of Lusófona and Level II Surf Coach Certificate from the National Surfing Federation

Meeting and Pickup
Meeting point is in front of Titanic Sur Mer, Cais do Sodré. The surfschool will be there waiting for all students.
What To Expect
Transportation is provided directly from the center of Lisbon to the beach where the surfing lesson takes place. Depending on traffic, this trip takes about 30 minutes.
When we arrive at the beach, we start the activity and prepare all the equipment, put on our wetsuits and go down to the sand.
We begin with a brief theoretical explanation about surfing, sea conditions and safety.
We start the sport with a warm-up and quickly start with the surfing technique, where I will explain all the steps necessary to start surfing, such as lying down, paddling and standing up on the board and gliding on the waves so that you can catch lots of waves and have the best surfing experience! Fun is guaranteed!
For more advanced students, we will work on perfecting their technique and also learning new maneuvers, improving your surfing and, above all, having fun. In the sea, I will always be by your side to accompany and help you!

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (WET).
